The Office for Student Success is here to walk with you toward your future at graduation and connect you with mentors, resources, and events along the way.

Mercer Firsts

The Mercer Firsts Program is a community of first-year, first-generation college students committed to attaining success at Mercer. The program connects each participant with an experienced mentor, a community of support, and guidance throughout the first year of college.

First-Gen Celebration

Presented by Opportunity Scholars and the Office for Student Success, Mercer’s First-Gen Celebration is an annual event recognizing the strength and accomplishments of students who are among the first in their family to attend college. First-Gen College Celebration Day is observed nationally each November.
